The Insurance Bureau of Canada has started a program with six different showcases, and one of them is the Dry House. It’s purpose is to sell information not insurance about how to keep your house dry. Water is the second largest problem after fire in society. The Insurance Bureau of Canada provides solutions- it is better to prevent a problem then solve it, which is what they work towards. A rain barrel is really useful because it showcases how much water is accumulated from the rain, which is a lot more than we actually think. They have a Dry House interactive game where you are given scenario problems and with each problem you get six solutions, deciding which one is right. It’s a useful fun game to learn more about how to solve problems within your house.
